Are you get sick with docs.google.com ? sometimes when you  want to download document in excel or word , it always launches it to google docs
There is a person like me that I search in google. He has some problem with me. He want to disable this application for some documents :

This is a feature that I normally like:  I click on a .DOC document, and it launches in Google Docs.  Great, I can scan it and read it without having to launch Word.  However, sometime there’s a document I’ve recently needed to open many Word documents from Intranets or behind protected website.  Google Docs chokes on these and show an error.  So, I tell Firefox to always open .DOC files with Word.  The behavior remains.  I log out of my Google account, thinking perhaps the behavior is triggering somewhere below the application layer.  Nope, I click on a .DOC link and I’m taken to the login page for Google Docs.

There’s  a solution that I get from google too ( This problem usually come when you using google toolbar on your firefox. To disable it :

1. On your Google Toolbar for Firefox, click Settings.
2. Choose Options….
3. In the Features section, de-select the Docs checkbox.
4. Click OK to save your changes.

If you thinks the setting is already like on above, and no change in this behavior. Just choose restore defaults.
For firefox , follow this way :

1. Open Tools – Options
2. Choose Applications tab

Tell Firefox to Always Ask for Excel and Word Document

3. Choose OK

Try to open your docs
