New feature virtualbox 2.1 : bridging in virtualbox automatically

Tested on Tested on my Acer 4520 with ubuntu hardy 8.04.2 and windows XP guest

I Have upgrade my virtualbox from 2.0 to virtualbox 2.1.0 . I am happy with the new feature that include in this releases. There is no more Manual TUN and TAP to bridging between Host OS and Guest OS. Maybe I am late to know about it cause it releases on november 2008, and i have test it on february 2009. Usually i just connect to virtualbox to test new software or test my new Operating System. But now there i a lot feature that must i digg to become better .

clear cached memory in ubuntu

Tested on my Acer 4520 with ubuntu hardy 8.04

Sometimes, when i see my system got slower, the i open the phpsysinfo. My using memory almost full. Even i restart my PC, the cached memory size still big. I want to clear cached memory but i’m hard to find to solution because i’m scar if it will cause my ubuntu crash.
After browse in many site ( thanks to ubuntuforum ) , I get the solution. It will clear cached memory with no bad effect to your system
To Check cached memory , use this command :

free

printer driver i255, ip1000, ip1700, and ip1880 on linux
