cheese for your webcam

Have you use webcam application in your PC or notebook. I have try it on windows, but there is no additional feature. Even there is an application, you must buy it first . The webcam can only user for take a photo without any additional effect, and sometimes it hang when we use it Windows Explorer, dll. How about in linux ???. In linux, there is an application for webcam with much of fun effect for photo. The name of this application is cheese. For install just use command :

sudo apt-get install cheese

I have try it notebook acer and it work perfectly.

picasa on ubuntu - photo manager by google

Have you using picasa in windows ? want to try it in linux ? Don’t worry, because now with picasa developer, the linux version is here.
Just add google repository of picasa on your sources.list . or you can direct download it from google picasa. For sources.list, Add this line :

deb http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/ stable non-free

Add GPG key for authentication :

wget -q -O - https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/linux_signing_key.pub | apt-key add -
apt-get update

And the install it with command :

apt-get install picasa

How to install ubuntu with mp3, java, and font microsoft support

Install ubuntu like usually, then to make it with java and mp3 support,Make sure your computer connected to internet . if you not connected to internet, you can buy DVD Repository
Open terminal prompt :

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

untuk Kubuntu user, bisa mengganti perintahnya menjadi :

sudo apt-get install kubuntu-restricted-extras
