mucommander – winscp or totalcommander alternative in linux

Mucommander is a cross platform file manager. If you usually use norton commander or total commander in Windows, then this application is the alternative for that. It running on linux, windows and Mac OS and using with java platform.It have multifunction and different from other file manager and it very powerfull too. it support FTP, SFTP, SMB, NFS, HTTP and Bonjour and it can browse to file like ZIP, RAR, TAR, GZip, BZip2, ISO/NRG, AR/Deb and LST without extracting them first.It can doing compress in format ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2, and TAR.To install it, make sure yo already have java installed. Just type java in your terminal to check if there is java installed. if it java not found, the you must installed it first.

How to install Ubuntu on Axioo TVS

2 bulan yang lalu, teman saya menginstall ubuntu di Laptop Axioo TVSnya. Waktu itu, saya berencana menginstalkan ubuntu intrepid pada Axiio tersebut. Tapi setiap booting awal menggunakan liveCD untuk instalasi, booting selalu gagal/berhenti pada logo Ubuntu/splashscreen. setelah nanya kesana kemari dan cari di google, ternyata dapat satu solusi yaitu melakukan centang/check pada option tertentu saat booting CD. Settingannya yaitu berikan tanda :

no apic nolapic

pada option saat booting live CD Ubuntu

pasang favicon.ico

Bagi yang sudah biasa mengotak atik website atau blog, favicon.ico rasanya sudah tidak asing. Favicon.ico adalah pengganti icon standar pada website. Contohnya :

Kita dapat mengganti iconnya menjadi icon sesuka kita. Siapkan saja file gambar dan text yang ingin anda masukkan.

1. Browse ke http://www.html-kit.com/favicon/ .
2. Upload file foto/gambar disertai text sesuai dengan yang anda inginkan. berikan tanda centang pada Animate-favicon, kemudian Klik Generate favicon.ico
3. Setelah download file favicon.ico yang sudah digenerate ( biasanya dalam format zip)
4. Upload file favicon.ico dan animated?_favicon1.gif ke directory themes anda ( /wp-content/themes/mythemes/ ).
5. Lakukan editing pada file Header atau header.php pada directory themes anda

Bagi website yang menggunakan wordpress, maka tambahkan baris berikut :
