How to install virtualbox 2.2-2 on ubuntu 9.04 (apt-get)

If you look at my pass article, i think it is not needed again, cause now virtualbox has make repository fot ubuntu jaunty.
just add virtualbox repository to your sources.list :

deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian jaunty non-free

then do update

apt-get update

after that, install virtualbox-2.2 by using command :

apt-get install virtualbox-2.2

that’s it there is no other setting cause virtualbox make it easy now

How to Install Xmms on Ubuntu jaunty 9.04

Tested on : Ubuntu 9.04 and hardy 8.04 by dedyisn

If you using windows, you may be always use winamp to play your mp3 file. In Ubuntu, you can use xmms to play that file. the interface look like winamp and some feature/plugin that i like is this xmms can use to mute or hide vocal of the song
This is how to install xmms and i have try it on ubuntu jaunty and ubuntu hardy 8.04 :
#add this repository to your sources.list (/etc/apt/sources

deb http://www.pvv.ntnu.no/~knuta/xmms/intrepid ./

#do update

apt-get update

#Install xmms

apt-get install xmms

Install Printer Canon Pixma ip1980 in Ubuntu 9.04

Canon has released new inject printer canon pixma ip1980. it continue the generation of canon pixma with additional feature. If you want to install it on ubuntu jaunty 9.04 , make sure you have download the driver from canon website. There are a software that has been provided by canon developer.
There is 2 different format ( .deb and .rpm ). Choose .deb file then follow the instructions. It will give you a tar package ( iP1900_debian_printer.tar ).
After download this tar package, extract it using command :

sudo tar -xf iP1900_debian_printer.tar
