How to install flashget in ubuntu

Tested on Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 and gutsy 7.10, Flashget 1.7.3 on acer

What your prefer download manager ??? If You ask me when i’m using windows, i will say it flashget v.1.73 . Why ? Cause flashget give many future, specially when download file from rapidshare.com. Now i;m using ubuntu, but i’m still how to use flashget on my ubuntu. The important thing that we can do before installing flashget in ubuntu is installing wine . wine ??? did you say a drink ??? no. it’s an application to make windows application can compatible with linux. On it repository it say :

Wine is a compatibility layer for running Windows applications on Linux. Applications are run at full speed without the need of cpu emulation. Wine does not require Microsoft Windows, however it can use native system dll files in place of its own if they are available.

Rapidshare di blok ? Saya bisa kok.

Tadi pagi sempat stress juga sih
Soalnya akun rapidshare yang saya sewa habisnya agustus nanti.Tapi download di rapidshare sudah di blok oleh ISP. Akhirnya coba coba browsing ke Kaskus dan Imz. Kebetulan ada yang kasih scriptnya biar rapidshare nggak di blok. Kalau nggak salah alamat webnya :

Kalau di windows sih gampang saja. karena scriptnya tinggal copy ke drive C:\\Windows dan entar rapidshare nggak diblok lagi.
Tapi karena sekarang saya sudah pake ubuntu linux, akhirnya saya musti cari file hosts nya dulu.
Kebetulan untuk di Ubuntu linux, file hostnya disimpan di /etc/. Jadi saya tinggal cari file hosts tersebut trus isinya saya tambahkan dengan isi script yang saya dapat . Trus saya coba akses ke download ke rapidshare dan ternyata……………………….
